Our casing soil is produced in Milsbeek. Our advanced, computer-controlled mixing line guarantees a homogeneous composition. The basic raw materials of our casing soil are turf, peat, betacal filter (spent lime) and marl.
The basic mix is available in the following qualities, in ascending order of moisture: standard, standard plus, wet, wet plus, extra wet, and extra wet plus.
The basic mix is suitable for both picking and cutting companies.
The cutting mix is more crumbly than the basic mix and creates a finer casing.
The cutting mix is available in the same moisture qualities as the basic mix (see bullet point 1 above).
Our ultra-coarse casing soil has a coarser and heavier structure than the basic mix and is suitable for pickers. Ultra-coarse casing soil is available with the same moisture contents as the basic mix (see bullet point 1 above).
Our Dutch new casing soil is heavier and greasier than the basic mix and is suitable for pickers that do not roughen . Dutch new casing soil is available with the same moisture contents as the basic mix (see bullet point 1 above).
