As in mid-2016, CNC shifted it entire focus to the production of substrates for the mushroom growing sector, and the corresponding service provision, the financial prospects have improved considerably. Partly driven by the Indoor Fresh Compost (IVC) factory in Milsbeek going into full production, the improved results booked in 2017 will be given a similar positive impulse in 2018. In addition, mushrooms perfectly match the prevailing trends in nutrition which offers prospects and opportunities for the future of CNC.
